What you'll do:
- On the foundation of your deep human capital knowledge and expertise, you will develop a deep knowledge of our solution to present to prospective customers how BetterUp can help organizations achieve their business objectives, reach breakthrough performance, and create an environment where all employees can thrive.
- You will apply your discovery and solution design skills to support the sales process. When necessary, you will also leverage your deep behavioral science knowledge to connect and share the science of BetterUp to the desired outcomes of the organization to drive efficacy and alignment. In post-sales, Senior Consultants partner with the customer success team to bring to life the impact that BetterUp is having in their organizations, by connecting qualitative and quantitative data for powerful stories of impact. You will lead insight-driven conversations and inform overall strategy to continually add value to our partners. You will have the opportunity to shape the product and direction of BetterUp by communicating important feedback to our Product team based on your conversations with customers.
- You will also be able to create and share thought leadership through workshops, webinars, and speaking engagements at industry events that bring to life the science and practice of BetterUp’s.
- Perform unrivaled professional discovery, presentation, communication, and influencing skills to C-Level Executives, interfacing with and selling to the office of the CHRO and CFO specifically.
- Manage multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
- Effectively explain complex scientific concepts to any audience in the form of clear, polished presentations and/or responses to questions and challenges.
- Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to create engaging insights and recommendations for prospects and clients.
- Agility and comfort with ambiguity to adapt and adjust to the market, the state of the organization and quickly shifting priorities.
If you have some or all of the following, please apply:
- M.A. with a minimum of 7 years of consulting and/or business experience, ideally within an HR department or equivalent or minimum or 5 years experience with a PhD in behavioral science or a related field (e.g., business, organizational leadership).
- Domain expertise in behavioral science AND HR and/or L&D.
- Facilitation and presentation skills, experience presenting to large audiences and executives.
- Leadership experience in one or more of the following domains: diversity and inclusion, employee engagement surveys and strategy, performance management design, succession planning, M&A integration, org effectiveness COE.
- Experience with engaging stakeholders at the executive level.
- Challenger mindset to influence executives to think differently about people development.
- Amazing storytelling capabilities, along with strong verbal and written communication.
- Expertise and comfort working with quantitative and qualitative data (basic statistics, examining patterns, developing recommendations based on data).
- Agility and comfort with ambiguity to adapt and adjust to the market, the state of the organization and quickly shifting priorities.
- Highly collaborative to foster cross-team learning and drive team results.
- Facilitation and presentation skills, experience presenting to large audiences.
- Willingness to travel 30% time (should organizations start to open when travel becomes the norm).
- Coaching experience is a plus.
