We're looking for hardworking Corporate Account Executives who will be responsible for prospecting within an assigned territory to uncover new opportunities. The CAE will identify, cultivate, and close opportunities with both new and existing customers, run forecasts, and track customer data.

The CAE will be responsible for quarterly and annual sales targets in the designated region. They"ll work collaboratively with the designated partners/resellers within the region to improve the velocity of business and to create solutions that serve the best interests of our customers at MongoDB.

This role can be based out of our Gurugram/Bengaluru/Mumbai office or remotely in the India region.

General Profile

  • Hunter rep focused on landing a high volume of high quality new logos
  • This role is focused on pipeline generation and targets migrate, launch, and select sales motions
  • This role exists to ensure we locate every possible new customer
  • This role reduces the complexity of the CAE role so that focus on PG is undiluted by install base work

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
  • Prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT leaders, and technical end users
  • Meet and exceed individual monthly, quarterly, and annual New Logo targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle for both Atlas and Professional Services
  • Manage a sales pipeline in Salesforce and maximize prospecting tools such as Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Outreach
  • Handle quote creation and order processing
  • Collaborate with Marketing on events

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full cycle sales closing experience
  • Familiarity with software, database, infrastructure, or open source technology a plus (NOT a requirement)
  • Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in highly competitive environment (top 10% performer)
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated success with cold calling and creative pipeline generation strategies
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales) a plus
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
