About the role:

Vercel is hiring a Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager to play a foundational role in driving adoption of Vercel through an affiliates program.

In this role, you will work strategically to plan, launch, and manage the affiliate program and grow the affiliate channel based on revenue goals, including monitoring, and leading affiliate program activities, including acquisition, retention, and activation of new affiliates and partnerships. The ideal candidate has a data-driven and user-focused mentality combined with experience managing user and partner relationships to foster new user acquisition.

What you will do

• Make ship happen - You will work across Marketing, DevRel, Engineering, and Brand to develop and implement an affiliate program for Vercel. Aside from developing best practices for the program, you’ll recommend a tech stack, coordinate the build and launch of the technical resources, and launch the program. We have a team of folks ready to jump in and support you ship this program and the initiatives you will need to make it a success.
• Be a scientist - You will test everything and constantly look for new ways to acquire, onboard, activate, and nurture affiliates, and ensure they have what they need to promote user adoption. A big part of that is making hypotheses about initiatives, testing them out, and tracking and monitoring those initiatives to grow user adoption. You can’t be afraid to take chances and launch initiatives or tests that fail to do this well. It’s all part of being a scientist.
• Own your outcomes - You will lead the program which comes with monitoring the programs, platform implementation, and performance by constantly analyzing data. You will hone in on areas we can improve for Key Performance Indicator performance, increase user acquisition, and build for Return On Investments. We love to celebrate findings, so you will regularly report on program growth and performance to the broader team.
