About The Role:

Notion is growing rapidly and shipping new features and product improvements at a high rate to meet the needs of our customers.

The Product Operations team is a function of the Customer Experience (CX) team dedicated to maintaining clear lines of communication between customers and Product, ensuring customers get the most out of Notion and that their feedback is integrated into the product development process.

As the Product Specialist for Launch Operations, you will be responsible for building and improving scalable processes to enable customer-facing teams to support product launches and new features so they can continue to provide world-class support.

What You'll Achieve:

  • Work with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams at every stage of the product development process to understand the impact of upcoming feature launches to customers and the CX team
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders in the product development process to create and execute a launch plan that accounts for the impact to customers and CX
  • Collaborate closely with the Training Manager, Customer Education, CX leadership, and other Product Specialists to ensure creation of the resources and training necessary to support new features
  • Operationalize the current beta test support program to scale more efficiently as Notion grows
  • Work with the CX team and interact with customers to gather feedback and report it to Product and Engineering during the beta testing and post-launch phases
  • Be a champion and advocate for our customers

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • 2-4 years experience in Product Operations, CX Learning & Development, CX enablement, advanced customer support, or account management
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing cross-functional projects
  • Experience participating in the product development process at a software company
  • The ability to distill complex information into easy-to-understand, actionable materials for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A bias to action when faced with ambiguity, balanced with a commitment to building sustainable, scalable processes

Nice to Haves:

  • Notion product expertise
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
  • Strong data reporting and data analytics skills
