The role: Sales Enablement & Training Specialist

As our Sales Enablement & Training Specialist, you will be an important part of the SparkPost (a MessageBird company) go to market team supporting efforts to drive sales efficiency and fluency for our internal sales and partner organizations. You will work closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Product Marketing, and other subject matter experts to create and deliver sales enablement and training materials for our internal sales, SDR, and Partner reseller teams.

What you’ll do

Create high quality training materials (slides, videos, job aids) to support enablement programs
Deliver effective and engaging training sessions to our internal and external partner sales teams
Manage a sales onboarding program to ramp SparkPost new hires faster and more efficiently
Maintain the content repository of sales training materials and marketing assets for the SparkPost sales team
Build on-demand learning courses and assessments in our sales LMS
Maintain a partner portal that includes collateral and on-demand learning course for partners
Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, and Product Specialist teams to support delivery of product training to internal and external sales organizations
Work with vendors for our sales tools to ensure best practices are being utilized by our sales team for increased productivity and efficiency

What you’ll bring

Excellent presentation creation and delivery skills with demonstrated skills in adapting content delivery by audience
Highly organized and skilled at managing multiple projects and prioritizes
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to collaborate and coordinate projects with many different teams
Ability to work in a fast-changing environment that requires strategic thinking, resourcefulness, results-oriented decision making, and commitment to excellence
Graphic design and video editing skills preferred
Qualifications:
Four year BS or BA degree
2+ years of Sales training/enablement experience, preferably with a technology company
Experience creating product training materials for sales or customer facing teams
Experience delivering training content to sales teams virtually
Experience supporting sales teams selling SaaS, analytics, or data subscription to business customers.
Email marketing experience a plus
