About the Role

The Sr. Director of Partnerships of Northern and Southern Europe is an organized, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking people and thought leader with a self-starter mentality that thrives in an environment of ambiguity. You're not afraid to go deep and look at organizational, creator, and territory challenges as opportunities. You're a natural problem-solver and collaborator with a passion for creators and will be empowered to optimize, design, and implement organization and content strategies, manage content P&Ls, educate & champion content trends, alongside overseeing, creating, and putting learnings into practice. You will be leading a team of high-performing content employees ranging from managers to associate personnel and has the ability to clearly articulate and translate business expectations and goals to Direct Reports, cross-functional stakeholders, and executives across the Twitch business.

You will report to the VP of Content in EMEA and work with regional and global teams to ensure delivery against our priorities.

You Will:

  • Manage and oversee Twitch's content and creator business in Northern & Southern Europe.
  • Manage local Content P&L(s) together with the EMEA executive team and be responsible and accountable for optimising the creator portfolio.
  • Drive long-term territory organisation and content strategies with the intent to increase creator service levels, satisfaction, and income.
  • Create, lead, and implement cross-functional programs and initiatives related to creators, content, region, or country.
  • Lead country deal teams that conduct negotiations with talent agencies, build and improve deal proposals/models.
  • Track, report, and present relevant performance-related metrics, learnings, programs, and country progress to senior and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Operations, Rivals, Marketing, Business Development, and Sales to achieve country and EMEA goals.
  • Lead teams of high-performing content personnel, ranging from people managers to associates.

You Have:

  • Experience in leading international teams with a focus on setting and exceeding personal, team, and organisational goals
  • Eagerness to dive into details, find creative solutions, and take responsibility for projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior and executive stakeholders internally and externally
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to effectively work independently and autonomously in an environment with high levels of ambiguity
  • Ability to thoughtfully escalate problem areas in advance.
  • Ability to accurately estimate time to produce results and effectively hold others accountable to dependencies.
  • Ability to prioritise based on the needs of the business and stakeholders
  • Ability to make cultural changes to drive mature managerial processes
  • Be a tireless advocate of the needs of our customers - both our creators and users

  • Familiarity with the gaming and UGC content creator space
  • Have business-level proficiency in a second language (either French, Spanish or Italian)
