As a People Data & Analytics Lead, you will play a key role in helping the organization solve complex business problems using data and analytics. The person in this role will start by standardizing and auditing our People data. As we grow, this role will help automate our data gathering, transformations, and analysis and provide various reporting, dashboards and analytics to multiple layers within our company. The person in this role will be involved in significant People initiatives to help ensure we can provide metrics and analytics to help track the progress of our goals. This position is the first People Data & Analytics role at Opentable/Kayak and this person will get to help lay the foundation of our People Data and Analytics.
Responsibilities:
Audit all current people related data to assess completeness and accuracy
Partner with stakeholders to determine their immediate data reporting needs and deliver that reporting through a self service reports and dashboards in Workday and other HR tools.
Assist in developing metrics to determine the success of People Initiatives at Opentable and Kayak.
Provide reporting and analytics that support the goals of our stakeholders and drive data supported decisions for those goals
Provide research, analysis, and recommendations companywide in regards to our People data
Manage and audit all data in our People Systems
Partner with teams and leaders across OpenTable and Kayak on People Analytics requests
Lead the education and training for all matters related to People data, reporting, and analysis
Develop automated processes and reports for People Leadership, Executives, Managers, and Employees
Work to help improve the work experience for our employees across our global organization
About you:
3-5 years of experience in People Analytics or other HR Analytics/Reporting teams.
Have a willingness and a passion to “roll up your sleeves” to build the foundation of a data and analytics role and function
Strong understanding of Report Writer and data storage in Workday.
Experience with handling complex and confidential data from multiple sources
Excellent with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
Ability to communicate and explain complex information to various types of audiences
Thoughtful about confidentiality and security when it comes to our People data.
Understanding of HR Technology systems and how to collect data
Experience with designing and analyzing survey data
Nice to haves:
Background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, HR/Business Analytics, or related field
Experience using Greenhouse, Culture Amp, and other HR Technology tools
Experience using Workday Prism, Workday People Analytics
Experience with Python, R, and/or SQL
In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected base salary range for this role in Colorado is $80,000 to $110,000. This position is eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
Actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by law.
